5 more years of rain

Just been out for a quick run on a rather miserable and rainy day. Pretty soaked. Perhaps a metaphor for how the next few years will be under a majority Tory government. Yep, I like the odd run in the rain and I like the freedom and democracy of it all, but I don't really want to be constantly soaked and rain-lashed all of the time.

Anyway, there are a billion things I could rant about... (a few are listed below). But, at the end of the day, at least I got to cast my vote (Hint, I didn't vote Conservative). What makes me really mad is when people don't use their vote at all and use an excuse like, 'Well, my vote won't make a difference anyway, so why bother?' If everyone thought that way and everyone did this, then of course, the answer is obvious. Eventually, every vote matters.

At the end of the day, I'm not rich and I'm only getting poorer. I don't have enough money to be able to save and I'm one of those graduates who has never earned more than minimum wage and is over-qualified to ever have been considered for any help or an apprenticeship. So, the Tories do nothing for me. At least I've run a lot of marathons, eh? David Cameron can only run a mile...
